This role matters to the company's growth as we continue to expand our services and support the evolving needs of our clients. As a Client Delivery Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving project implementation and ensuring the successful delivery of our solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Client Delivery Project Manager, you will lead and manage the project implementation lifecycle, delivering multiple projects and initiatives while ensuring effective communication to project teams, management, external clients, and vendors.
- Lead and manage project teams, facilitating and leading project resources through the work breakdown process to define tasks, durations, effort, and dependencies.
- Partner with technology leaders to understand interdependencies and lead time, identifying project resources and developing a comprehensive schedule.
- Drive and coordinate cross-functional project team members from multiple disciplines, assigning individual responsibilities and leading team meetings to ensure delivery objectives are met.
- Maintain project documentation, ensuring project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
- Prepare and distribute project reports and communications, communicating with technology teams, project sponsors, stakeholders, functional area managers, and/or consultants regarding the status of specific tasks.
- Ensure various integration elements of assigned projects are properly coordinated, including project plan development, project plan execution, and overall change control.
- Develop highly technical, detailed project plans, including all work required to successfully complete both internal and client-facing projects.
- Act as the primary liaison and manage expectations of key sponsors and client executive staff related to timing, functionality, and business objectives needed to support a successful go-live.
- Assume responsibility, manage conflict within the group, and provide final approval for the entire project on behalf of all stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot project issues and escalate them to upper management if necessary.
Requirements & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the financial services or fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of payment processing, card industry, and related systems and subsystems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Nice-to-Have
- PMI certification or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of credit union operations and MasterCard, VISA, and other payment processing systems.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software, such as Asana, Trello, or MS Project.
