Key Responsibilities
As a CRM DSS Sales Manager at Medtronic, you will be responsible for leading a sales team to achieve established sales targets, developing business strategies, and building strong relationships with key account personnel. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning, directing, and monitoring the activities of a sales team within a specified region/district/geography to achieve established sales targets
- Developing and/or implementing business strategies for existing and potential accounts
- Managing the day-to-day activities of a sales team to implement the organization's overall sales strategy for an assigned region/district/geography
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all key account personnel and relevant functions to support selling, market development, service efforts, and clinical programs
- Identifying opportunities and developing new programs to meet the organization's sales plans and increase market share
- Assessing the need for the addition of new selling programs and processes, conducting competitive analysis, and implementing strategies
- Coaching sales representatives on the technical aspects of the organization's products and services, marketing campaigns, and sales promotions
- Managing internal processes in support of sales representatives and selling activities
- Implementing direct sales and operational plans with measurable impact on function results, including target revenue, resource allocation, expenditures, and future business opportunities
- Managing tactical aspects of team performance and day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and performance
Requirements & Qualifications
Must-Have
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 7+ years of experience, or Associate’s Degree and 5+ years of experience, or Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience
- Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and direct a sales team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key account personnel and other stakeholders
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and implement business strategies and plans
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
