This role is crucial to our company's growth as we are looking for a DevOps e Platform Senior to lead a strategic project of migrating approximately 320 repositories to GitHub Enterprise Cloud. This project will be conducted remotely and includes planning, governance definition, pilot testing, complete migration of repositories, and post-migration support, including documentation and knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for technically leading the migration of repositories to GitHub Enterprise Cloud, preserving history, branches, tags, issues, and pull requests.

Conduct technical migration of repositories to GitHub Enterprise Cloud
Perform technical inventory of the current environment, mapping dependencies, integrations, and existing pipelines
Define and execute a pilot migration strategy, validating processes and tools
Plan and execute the migration of productive repositories in waves
Structure versioning patterns, branching models, and workflow templates in GitHub Actions
Automate CI/CD pipelines and establish technical best practices and guardrails for the new environment
Produce technical documentation and support knowledge transfer to the teams involved
Collaborate with the development team to ensure a smooth transition
Ensure that all migrations are properly tested and validated
Maintain and update the technical documentation of the migration process

Requirements & Qualifications

Must-Have

Proven experience in corporate Git platform migration projects (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps)
Domain of GitHub Enterprise (Cloud or Server) and GitHub Actions
Hands-on experience with Git migration tools, such as GitHub Importer, gh-migrate, or custom scripts
Solid knowledge of versioning and branching strategies
Experience with automation using Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell
Technical English for reading documentation and occasional interaction
Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices

Nice-to-Have

GitHub certifications (GitHub Actions, GitHub Administration, GitHub Advanced Security)
Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices applied to GitHub
Experience with large-volume repository projects (300+)
Knowledge of tools like Jira, SonarQube, Azure DevOps, and artifact registries
Previous experience with enterprise projects or working with SoftwareOne
